Rory Glennie is a member of Fly Fishing Team Canada and has represented the country at two World Fly Fishing Championships; in North Wales, UK and in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, USA. His first “tenkara” rod was a limber alder sapling with a piece of nylon mono attached to the tip and a crudely dressed deer hair fly tied to the end. It was an impromptu moment on a tiny stream which just begged to be fished; discovered while out picking mushrooms. That was more than forty years ago. Now an Amago or Ito by Tenkara USA is his rod of choice.
